Mexican oregano is a small perennial shrub with aromatic and edible foliage.

The leaves, fresh or dried, can in fact be used to flavor sauces, sauces, vegetables, pizza, doughs and meats, and are characterized by their peppery taste!

Flowering occurs in the summer and is pink-lilac in colour. Mexican oregano flowers are very fragrant and you can use them to flavor your dishes, not just as a decoration.
