Zenzero aromatico – Kencur

Botanical name: Kaempferia galanga

The Kaempferia Galanga grows in open areas in Indonesia, southern China, Taiwan, Cambodia and India, but it is widely cultivated throughout Southeast Asia.

Has an ovate Foliage Green opaque.

The flowers are white with lilac variegation are brought to the center of the plant.

His ginger-like Rhizome, but sweeter and spicy taste, is used in Indonesian cuisine, where it is called kencur.
