Widespread in Europe and Africa, Thymus serpyllum is a species of herbaceous thyme with a groundcover habit.

Sturdy, fragrant variety, the spring flowering lilac in colour.

Its aroma is ideal for flavoring meat, fish and legume dishes. Try it in salads or chopped raw on sauces and vegetables!

Perfect as a border or rock garden species. It is not afraid of cold and dry conditions!
