Species endemic to the mountainous areas of Greece and Turkey, Thymus leucotrichus is a small bushy herbaceous development and small in size.
The plant with a strong balsamic aroma reminiscent of the odor of the foliage of Juniper, Juniperus communis.
Ideal in the kitchen to flavor a variety of dishes, the plant can also be used as ornamental as groundcover habit.
The summer-flowering light pink is especially visited by bees and butterflies.
