Botanical name: Thymus thracicus
This shrubby species spontaneous State in the regions of Abruzzo and Basilicata, Thymus thracicus has spread in the Balkans and to the North of the Aegean Sea.
The plant is characterized by bushy and foliage particularly aromatic. The latter, of a glossy dark green colour, exudes a touch of lavender aroma extremely intended, enriched by notes of pine.
The foliage of Thymus thracicus flavour to a variety of dishes, including meat and vegetables, representing also an interesting specimen of melliferous plant, given the durable bloom in the summer months.
