Botanical name: Prasium majus

Prasium majus suffrutex perennial Creeper, it is endemic to southern Europe.

This spontaneous State along the coastal areas of the peninsula, the plant is now seen almost exclusively as ornamental. In the past though the branches of Prasium majus were used by farmers as agricultural ties and, as the common name "tea siciliano" reveals, with the leaves were prepared infusions and decoctions.

The spring bloom is white-lilac.
