Salvia officinalis is an Evergreen shrub, native to the Mediterranean basin.
This ornamental perennial can grow to 35-45 cm high and is characterized by a thick foliage and green-gray woolly, with pronounced ribs beneath. Elongated flowers are usually blue-mauve.
