Salvia di palude

Botanical name: Salvia uliginosa

Species native to South America, especially Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina, Salvia uliginosa is characterized by erect and the beautiful blue and white bloom, which makes its appearance in late summer,, and lasted until mid autumn.

It is a perennial aromatic foliage, which responds to the pruning of considerable importance.

The epithet "uliginosa" is a direct reference to the habitat of origin of the plant, which arises in wetlands and swamps.
