Salvia argentea

Botanical name: Salvia argentea

Salvia argentea è una pianta biennale*, originaria del sud Europa.

The epithet "argentea" is a direct reference to the beautiful silvery foliage. Despite this variety does not present the intense aroma of other sages, the leaves are also for thick hair, which makes them exceptionally soft to the touch.

Equally impressive is its flowering between April and June, characterized by high ears laden with white flowers and that will make an appearance from the second year of life of the plant.

* Although this variety is classified as a biennial, the plant is able to self-reproduce by seed.
