Origano variegato

Botanical name: Origanum vulgare

Origanum variegatum is the variety of Origanum vulgare. The leaves, similar in form to those of the common oregano, differ from the latter for the delicate white edging.

Flowering occurs in summer and is white or pink.

If grown in full sunlight, the leaves tend to become Golden.

As the common oregano, this variety is an ideal herbaceous ornamental purposes as well as great in the kitchen to flavor a variety of dishes.
