Origano messicano

Botanical name: Poliomintha longiflora

Poliomintha longiflora is a highly aromatic, purple flowering suffrutex-white very flashy and persistent on the plant from spring to autumn.

Its aroma is similar to the common oregano, but spicier, it leaves an ingredient of many Mexican and South American dishes, its area of origin.

Grows rapidly forming a pleasant soft lustrous Green Bush up to a height of 60-90 cm. Its flowers attract bees, butterflies and small birds.
