Coleus aromaticus is an herbaceous perennial plant, native to Africa and currently endemic in the Caribbean.
Aromatic scent and taste similar to common Cuban oregano, marjoram is widely used in Cuban and Jamaican to flavor the meat.
Green leaves, succulent and tomentose, have an intense aroma, especially when rubbed with the hands.
The summer bloom is pink.
