Menta argentina

Botanical name: Lippia polystachya

Lippia polystachya is a perennial native to South America.

Commonly called "Mint argentina" to the Mint aroma given off by the foliage, this variety is an excellent tea plant. The leaves, fresh or dried, it can also be used for fruit-based desserts and fruit salads.

The growth of this plant is quite quick, we therefore recommend that you make some pruning during the vegetative time, so as to re-invigorate the structure.
