Malva sylvestris zebrina is a herbaceous biennial *, erect and easy to cultivate.

The flowers of this variety are especially beloved by bees that visit them regularly. Flowering lilac colour with purplish veins, begins in late summer and continues surprisingly for several months.

The leaves of malva zebrina are edible and excellent as an addition in salads.

* Although this variety is classified as a biennial, the plant is able to self-reproduce by seed.
