Lippia citriodora, also commonly called "erba luigia", "lemon" or "mint", is a shrub belonging to the family of the Verbenaceae.
This plant can reach 120 cm in height and in late summer offers delicate white flowers that appear in clusters at the top of the stem.
The interest generated from this plant is due to its foliage, which give off an intense lemon flavor, surprisingly pleasant to the touch. The young leaves are perfect for making infusions, liqueurs or spice fruit desserts, pastries and ice cream.
