Botanical name: Equisetum scirpoides
Equisetum scirpoides is a perennial common in North America. Very rustic, scirpoides prefers moist soils and can be planted as edge to small lakes or ponds.
This is the variety of the genus Equisetum from smaller size. It does not exceed the 20-25 cm in height.
The dense foliage semi-evergreen consists of thin stems, the apex of which appear greenish-black in the summer inflorescences.
