Botanical name: Teucrium marum

Teucrium marum is an endemic species of the Italian territory, in particular on the island of Sardinia.

The plant, perennial and development erected, is characterized by an intense and pungent enacted greyish foliage.

Given the pungent smell of resinous substances and essential oils contained in t. marum, that was used by the shepherds of the Supramonte to cause sneezing and free up the Airways.

It also seems, as revealed by its common name, the plant has an exciting effect on cats.

Flowering late summer is bright pink.
