Basilico liquirizia

Botanical name: Ocimum sp.

Varieties of the genus Ocimum purplish foliage and by the intense fragrance of licorice with anisate notes.

The plant has erect. The edible leaves are used in cooking to flavour both savoury and sweet food, providing not only color, but mainly flavor.

Pink inflorescences make their appearance during the summer.
