Balsamo de Canudo

Botanical name: Kleinia repens

Kleinia repens is a blue-gray succulent native to South Africa.

The island of Madeira this variety grows wild, enduring drought very well and the sunlight.

The plant is commonly called "Balsam de Canudo". "Balsam" because the gel contained within it is a great curative in case of dry eyes or red eyes, wounds, burns. Just break the leaf and make the gel on the affected area.

In winter time we advise you to withdraw the plant inside the House. Also ideal as a houseplant.
