Native to Central Europe, Artemisia lanata, Artemisia, is a perennial suffrutex varieties of color silvery.

The plant is propagated as a groundcover, forming a carpet of leaves silky deeply divided, which is coloured yellow flowers between August and September.

This variety can be used to flavor soft drinks or spirits.
